Introducing Mark Smith
I am a communications specialist with a body of work comprising more than 2000 magazine and newspaper features covering the Tasmanian wine industry. Publishers include Winetitles Media; The Examiner; The Advocate; Tasmanian Farmer; In Business Tasmania; 40º South; TasmanianTimes.com; VisitVineyards.com; Winestate and RieslingReport.com.
I've also managed communication strategy for third parties as a Brand Tasmania partner. Past clients include Riversdale Estate and Kreglinger Wine Estates.
As inaugural Chief Steward of the Tasmanian Wine Show (1991-1997), I worked alongside the legendary Phil Laing to plan and manage the formative years of one of Australia's most highly-regarded regional wine shows.
Wine samples
Wine samples in the form of finished wines will be gratefully received. Wines must be produced entirely from wine grapes grown in Tasmania.
A delivery address will be provided on receipt of an email to wineintasmania@gmail.com.
